Charcoal-based Viking Deodorants

I purchased 3 charcoal-based men's deodorants (Spiced Vanilla, Sweet Tobacco and Majestic Oud) thinking they would work like the Sandalwood Deodorant which was my first Viking Revolution purchase. I've only opened the Majestic Oud Charcoal and found that it is difficult and unpleasant to apply - it is extremely dry and does not apply smoothly on the skin, pulling hairs off as I try to apply it. I suspect all 3 charcoal deodorants I purchased, (2 of them still unopened), will have the same unpleasant feel in their application. Had I known this, I would have gone for the cardboard-packaged deodorants, based on my positive experience with the Sandalwood, which is great. I would appreciate the opportunity to exchange the charcoal products for non-charcoal deodorants. Thanks
