Ver Smooth razor. I love mine!

I have many straight razors and use one daily, but this was my first one that uses replaceable blades in the holder. Compared to a normal straight razor, it has a much smoother feel when shaving and not nearly as sensitive to the right "angle" to the skin. It shaves as close if not a little better than the other type. I like being an "old school" shaver. The whole sharpening, stropping, whipping some warm shaving cream up and taking my time to do it is sorry of a Zen thing for me. This razor is very simply stylish and does a great job without having to worry about the sharpening process. Definitely will rotate it into my line-up of blades.

Also, Viking Revolution has great shaving creams and shaving soaps that whip up into a very nice and thick cream that makes the shaving process so much smoother and adds to a cleaner cut. I truly love using their products.

Great starter set

For everyone who complains about Japanese steel made in China……you’re a jack***. Do you think all Damascus steel is made in Damascus? Get over it! Are there better blades? Yes! i.e shark blades, but it’s still a very nice starter kit. If you’re just getting into the game this is the way to go!
